About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with our Feline Medicine Specialist, as well as work alongside highly trained ECC Vets, Interns and nurses with advanced specialty qualifications. The position is a 6-month minimum contract with the possibility of extension, Working Holiday Visa holders welcome to apply!

Your role will include:
- Triage and assessment of incoming patients
- Organizing, performing, and assisting with medicine procedures
- Managing specialized equipment
- Performing anesthesia for a wide range of patients, including critically ill cases
- Conducting advanced nursing tasks (e.g., catheter placement, radiographs, intensive care)
- Collaborating with clinicians and specialists to provide seamless patient care
- Communicating with clients to update and support them during their pet’s treatment
- Helping maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our hospital
Some public holiday and weekend shifts will be part of your rotation (with appropriate remuneration). Ongoing educational opportunities and allowances are included, with access to both online and in-person training.
About You:
We're seeking a compassionate, professional nurse who:
- Has a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience, 4+ years)
- Communicates effectively, with strong written and oral skills
- Can manage time well in a fast-paced setting
- Loves working with animals (we’re a gold standard ISFM hospital!) and respects their people
- Prioritizes patient care and can work both collaboratively and autonomously
Specialist or referral practice experience is a plus!
