About This Role
 
Veson Nautical is seeking an exceptional Premier Account Manager to join our global commercial team. This is a strategic, senior individual contributor role responsible for managing and expanding our most valuable enterprise relationships within the Energy & Commodities or Maritime, Freight, Banking & Other sectors.
 
As a Premier Account Manager, you'll serve as the trusted advisor to C-level executives at our premier global accounts, orchestrating long-term partnerships that align Veson's full suite of solutions—IMOS, VesselsValue, Shipfix, and Q88—with clients' strategic business objectives. This role demands exceptional commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to drive multi-million-dollar account growth through renewals, upsells, and cross-sell initiatives.
 
What You'll Do
 
Drive Strategic Account Growth 
You'll lead the overall strategy and revenue performance for Veson's most strategic enterprise accounts, developing multi-year growth plans that maximize account value across our complete product portfolio. Working closely with the VP of your vertical, you'll identify expansion opportunities, ensure timely renewals, and proactively address any risks to retention or satisfaction.
 
Build Executive Relationships 
You'll cultivate trusted, strategic relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers, leading executive business reviews and driving long-term partnership engagement. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence across multiple levels, geographies, and functional areas will be critical to your success.
 
Lead Commercial Excellence 
You'll negotiate renewal, expansion, and master agreement contracts, applying structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger) to manage complex sales cycles effectively. Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline management through Salesforce, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure strategically aligned and commercially sound deals.
 
Provide Thought Leadership 
You'll partner with Industry Advocate Executives and Customer Success teams to ensure cohesive client engagement strategies. Actively representing Veson at major industry forums, conferences, and panels, you'll strengthen our presence in the marketplace while co-developing case studies and success stories that showcase our value.
 
What You Bring
 
Experience & Credentials 
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in strategic account management or enterprise sales, ideally within SaaS, data, or technology-driven environments
  • Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar enterprise accounts with sustained revenue growth and retention
  • Formal training or certification in sales methodologies (MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Solution Selling) desirable
  • Deep familiarity with maritime, shipping, freight, banking, or commodities trading industries preferred 
Sales & Account Management Excellence 
  • Demonstrated success driving growth through upsells and cross-sells in a SaaS or enterprise software environment
  • Expertise in strategic account planning, renewal management, and complex contract negotiations
  • Strong command of sales frameworks and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Consistent history of quota attainment or top performance recognition

  • Exceptional executive presence with proven ability to build trust at the C-suite level
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Skilled in managing complex, matrixed relationships across global organizations

 Work Style
This role requires regular travel (30-40%) to meet with premier clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with global team members. Hybrid or on-site work arrangements are preferred depending on location.
