Job Summary
Reporting to the VP of Corporate Marketing, this role owns Versa's web presence as a primary driver of pipeline, brand credibility, and category positioning. You'll define the web strategy, manage the roadmap, and work across product marketing, demand generation, brand, and revenue teams to build a digital experience that serves enterprise buyers at every stage of a complex, technical purchasing process.
This is an execution-focused role for someone who is equally comfortable setting strategy and getting into the weeds on performance data, conversion optimization, and SEO.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the web experience strategy for versa-networks.com, including the corporate blog platform, as Versa's primary digital surface for pipeline generation, brand storytelling, and category positioning
- Build and manage a data-driven roadmap that balances quick wins with longer-term improvements across site navigation, content structure, and conversion paths
- Own performance against key KPIs including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, pipeline influence, and organic search rankings
- Lead SEO and AEO strategy to improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered answer engines for high-intent SASE and cybersecurity queries
- Drive continuous optimization through A/B testing, heatmap analysis, user feedback, and conversion rate work
- Develop segmented digital experiences for Versa's core buyer personas including security practitioners, network architects, and executive decision-makers
- Partner with brand and creative to ensure the website reflects Versa's security-first positioning and elevated creative standards
- Collaborate with product marketing and communications on blog content publishing and optimization
- Work with demand generation and revenue teams to align web experience with campaign strategies and pipeline goals
- Manage web development resources including internal team members and agency partners to deliver on roadmap commitments
- Leverage AI tools and modern web development approaches to accelerate delivery and improve team efficiency
- Manage website governance including compliance requirements, security protocols, and content approval workflows
Qualifications
- 8+ years leading digital web experiences in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology, with experience managing complex technical buyer journeys
- Proven track record of driving measurable results including conversion rate improvements, pipeline attribution, and SEO and organic traffic growth
- Experience building and optimizing websites for multiple buyer personas and account-based marketing approaches
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in A/B testing, user research, and performance analysis
- Technical fluency to partner effectively with engineering, product marketing, and marketing operations on implementation requirements
- Hands-on experience with modern marketing technology including CMS platforms such as Contentful, Webflow, or WordPress, analytics tools, ABM platforms, and marketing automation systems
- Understanding of how AI-powered answer engines evaluate and surface content, and the ability to optimize for both traditional and emerging discovery channels
- People leadership experience managing web developers, content strategists, or digital marketers
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities across product marketing, revenue, demand generation, and corporate marketing teams
- Experience in cybersecurity, networking, or enterprise infrastructure is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $150,000 to $190,000. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
