As a Platform infrastructure Specialist, you will be working as a member of friendly, inclusive, and high caliber team to:

- Deliver solutions to complex problems at the intersection of networking, security, and resilient infra.

- Build highly scalable, high throughput, and fault-tolerant services that power the SASE solutions of Versa.

- Be an ambassador for the team, maintaining high standards and ensuring that the solutions are maintainable, secure, and consistent in design and implementation.

- Keep up with technological advancements in areas of resiliency and horizontal scalability.

- Leading, encouraging, and supporting other team members on knowledge sharing, collaboration, and collective problem solving.

- Help translating business requirements into viable technical features.

To succeed, You’ll need

- Expert level programming skills in C or C++ on Linux/Unix systems

- Hands-on experience working on multi-threaded, event-driven packet processing architectures using FOSS libraries like DPDK, VPP, libevent, and so on.

- Deep understanding of control and data plane separation, OS network stack, routing & switching concepts.

- Solid experience in troubleshooting volatile issues like race conditions, memory issues, and performance degradation.

- Very good knowledge of development, debugging, and tooling on Linux/Unix family of operating systems.

- Great verbal and written communication skills to work with different functional teams, collaborate and coordinate with teams across geographies.

- Hands-on experience for occasional bash, Lua and python scripting

While not strictly necessary, it’s better if you have

Graduation or Post-Graduation in fields of Computer Engineering, Electronics, and Information Technology with minimum 5 to 8 Years of hands-on experience in software development work.
