Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support an innovative program. The candidate will lead the design and development of advanced, mission-critical systems. This role requires deep technical expertise in building scalable, secure solutions and mentoring junior engineers while working closely with system and hardware engineers to deliver cutting-edge capabilities. Join our innovative team and contribute to impactful national security initiatives.
Work Location: 80% Onsite: Alexandria, Va.
Required Experience:
- 14+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency with Flask and REST API development.
- Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, software architecture, and system integration.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI required.
Desired Experience:
- Active Full Scope Polygraph.
- Experience with Python, SQL, and high-performance algorithms.
- Advanced experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or AWS GovCloud).
- AWS Solutions Architect or equivalent advanced certifications.
