Ventus Solutions is seeking an Engineer/Analyst/Program Manager. This near-term opportunity is ideal for a self-starting, detail-oriented, technically proficient individual to provide direct support developing an exciting new weapons system within a Naval Sea Systems command program office. The candidate should be comfortable working with a variety of technical and programmatic information. This includes evaluating and making recommendations as well as providing information to senior Navy leadership and Congress. The candidate should have experience communicating and interfacing directly with senior leaders, working independently with little to no supervision; and providing objective, independent critical thinking. AEGIS experience is a plus, as is any shore tour emphasizing acquisition, program management, resource sponsorship, and/or technical development or testing.
Work location is in Arlington, VA.
Required Experience:
- High degree of Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Bachelor’s degree required, Engineering or technical degree desired.
- Clearance: Top Secret (or able to obtain TS)
Desired Experience:
- 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with DoD and Navy operational and acquisition processes
- Strong communication skills
- Operational experience in any maritime warfare areas, especially air or missile defense
- Aegis experience highly desirable
