Ventus Solutions is seeking a Financial Manager to join our exciting team. This immediate opportunity is ideal for a senior-level, self-starting, detail-oriented, and technically proficient individual to provide financial management and contract support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). The Financial Manager will assist in managing acquisition resources, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure compliance with budgeting, forecasting, and execution processes. The successful candidate will help support the development of program and budget submissions, monitor the status of approved funds, and work closely with senior leadership to deliver financial insights.
 
Work Location: Falls Church, VA (Suffolk Bldg.)
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Experience as a Financial Manager or Deputy FM for a $100M+ technology program, or leading financial management for a portfolio of technology development programs.
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • Familiarity with the DoD Defense Acquisition System.
  • TS/SCI Clearance
Desired Experience
  • Military or OSD experience.
  • PMP Certification Education Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
