Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Senior Cyber Transition Officer to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will serve as a key integrator between the Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) and U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM). The candidate will play a vital role in aligning cyber initiatives and strategic objectives between agencies. Candidate will be familiar with joint operations and the ability to coordinate across Combatant Command. Join our innovative team and contribute to impactful national security initiatives.
Work Location: On site, Fort Meade, MD with travel
Required Experience:
- 15+years of technical and operational experience including leading teams at tactical, operational, Combatant Command and national levels.
- Experience in planning and leading DoD acquisition activities
- Strong communication written and oral, experience with briefing senior Government officials
- Experience supporting or working with Combatant Commands (e.g., EUCOM, INDOPACOM) or Joint Staff.
- Background with Cyber Mission Force, ideally including work with CMTs or CSTs.
- Strong understanding of joint operations and interagency coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or other relevant Cyber related discipline
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI/SI polygraph required.
Desired Experience:
- Experience working directly with USCYBERCOM or other Fort Meade-based cyber entities.
- Prior experience as a liaison or integrator in a joint or interagency setting.
- Strategic communication and stakeholder engagement skills at the general officer/SES level.
