LOCATION: Remote / Corporate Office in Houston (Hybrid)

THE OPPORTUNITY
The scope of this role includes supporting our US corporate staff, Canada corporate staff, and our property staff (about 90 locations around the US). Therefore, much of this work will be done remote from the end-user.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ticket Management
We use Jira Service Management as our ticketing system. Internal documentation and our customer-facing knowledge base are stored in Confluence. We have defined SLAs for first response and time to start working. All work must be tracked inside Jira Service Management.
Laptop Lifecycle Management
Purchase, ship, and configure laptops for new employees and where laptops need replacement. This includes:
- Pre-provision laptops in Intune
- Ship devices to the employee’s address
- Maintain an inventory of laptops ready to ship
- Maintain our IT Asset inventory
- Using Intune, wipe laptops when returned
- Ensure company security policies are enforced
Printer and Laptop Support
Assist users with all printer and laptop incidents and requests, providing excellent customer support. Typical incidents and requests include:
- Printer connectivity issues
- Printing failures
- Laptop hardware issues (e.g. camera, speakers)
- Software installation and configuration
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 1 year of similar experience is required for this role
- Familiarity with Atlassian products, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
- Device management using Microsoft Intune, including managing device profiles, configuration and compliance policies, and application deployments
- Have excellent problem-solving skills in a Windows-based environment
- Have excellent customer service skills, being able to empathize with end-users
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of ITIL concepts and terminology and Microsoft Device Management certification would be an asset
