THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst of Investor Relations to join our dynamic team. This individual, reporting to the Director of Investor Relations, will utilize strong hands-on FP&A skills to play a key role in the Investor Relations function. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background in modelling and investor return/metric reporting. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop advanced financial models to project investor returns and perform comprehensive scenario analyses
- Evaluate underwriting models to identify return drivers and forecast performance trends
- Analyze appraisals and investor holdings to validate valuation and return metrics
- Deliver accurate and timely ad-hoc investor reports and packages
- Collaborate with the Investor Reporting team to support seamless quarterly investor reporting and distribution process
- Play a key role in investor reporting system migration and develop custom reports
- Comply with all policies and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant field.
- 5+ years progressive responsibilities within finance, capital markets, or investment banking.
- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining complex financial models, designing performance metrics, and delivering advanced analytical insights. Solid understanding of investment return metrics, including IRR and Cash-on-Cash returns.
- Knowledge of investment deal structures, including promote and waterfall calculations
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Argus, VBA, SQL, Python, or Power BI an asset.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Real estate investment experience would be an asset.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation would be an asset.
