We are looking for a curious, talented, and passionate Tax & Tax Accounting India Manager to join our Tax & Finance teams to perform a range of tax and tax accounting tasks by handling all India tax and tax accounting aspects of Indian operations, in addition to supporting our U.S. GAAP annual and quarterly tax provision processes for Varonis' APAC subsidiaries.

Your impact: 
  • Supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated U.S. GAAP tax provisions for the APAC region,
  • Manage all direct (corporate) and in-direct India tax compliance from the company's incorporation to the conclusion of tax audits, including compliance prepared by external advisers, 
  • Provide India tax & tax accounting support in a range of areas including cross border intercompany transactions, direct (corporate) and in-direct Indian tax compliance, corporate financing, stock-based compensation, etc. 
  • Indian focal point for tax and finance department, 
  • Coordinating the flow of information between accounting, consolidation, legal, tax, HR, business, finance, and other areas of the company on a worldwide basis to meet various tax requirements and deadlines
  
Your toolbox: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; chartered accountant – mandatory
  • Experience as in-house direct (corporate) and in-direct tax person of an Indian subsidiary of a foreign parent - mandatory
  • Diploma in Tax Law-  an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Indian tax accounting & compliance including significant involvement in a global annual tax provision process, both from a large public accounting firm and within an Indian subsidiary of a foreign parent that reports under US GAAP
Strong proficiency in ASC 740 tax accounting principles, applied on a global basis – a significant advantage
  • Familiarity (at least) with OECD inter-national tax and transfer pricing principles, including BEPS 2.0 – a significant advantage
