As an Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR), you will work closely with marketing and sales to turn inbound lead activity into qualified sales meetings. You will be responsible for quickly and strategically responding to leads from demo requests, webinars, in-person events, and content downloads. Additionally, you will assist strategic outbound campaigns, researching accounts and leveraging highly tailored outreach. 
  
This role requires outstanding research and communication skills. The ideal candidate can efficiently research leads and accounts, using first-party CRM data and third-party intelligence tools to craft personalized and persuasive outreach via email, phone, video, and social media.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:  
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline  
  • Efficiently qualify and quickly respond to inbound marketing leads  
  • Use live chat and conversational marketing tools to assist prospects live on varonis.com  
  • Identify inbound marketing leads’ interests and map them to an appropriate follow-up plan (SalesLoft cadence)  
  • Quickly identify if inbound activity relates to an existing opportunity or customer and coordinate an action plan with account executives 
  • Assist marketing in outreach for marketing campaigns, events, and rapid-response initiatives 
  • Work closely with marketing to drive continuous improvement in lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation  
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior information professionals  
  • Evangelize Varonis and our unique approach to data security  
  • Continually update and manage Salesforce lead, contact, and account records with accurate information  
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified new prospect meetings and outreach response times  
  
Minimum Required Skills and Experience:  
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills  
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills  
  • A basic understanding of B2B software sales   
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote team environment  
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus  
  • SalesLoft experience a plus  
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or 6Sense experience a plus
