Summary
The VP of Revenue Enablement is responsible for aligning sales strategy, product strategy, and field execution to accelerate Varonis' growth and transformation. This individual will lead the global Revenue Enablement teams driving sales productivity, technical readiness, onboarding excellence, field effectiveness, and continuous learning across Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Services.
The VP of Revenue Enablement will serve as a bridge between Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams, ensuring the field remains fully equipped to understand, position, demonstrate, and sell Varonis solutions. This leader will own the development and execution of a global enablement strategy that aligns with the company roadmap, supports product launches, and enables field teams to succeed in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity market.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, technical aptitude, deep product curiosity, and exceptional enablement leadership. They possess a genuine passion for understanding how products work, maintain close relationships with Product teams, and have a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into impactful training programs, certifications, content, and field-facing resources.
This role will be instrumental in improving field performance through scalable enablement programs, data-driven decision-making, technical competency development, and effective product launch readiness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global revenue enablement strategy aligned with company objectives, go-to-market priorities, and growth initiatives.
- Partner closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Services, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to identify enablement priorities and execute against them.
- Act as the executive leader for all field readiness initiatives related to new products, features, platform enhancements, and strategic company initiatives.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Varonis product portfolio, technology architecture, customer use cases, competitive landscape, and product roadmap.
- Build strong relationships with Product Management and Engineering leadership to ensure ongoing alignment between product strategy and field execution.
- Develop, lead, and manage global onboarding, technical training, certification, coaching, and continuous learning programs.
- Design, create, and facilitate highly effective technical training for Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Services teams.
- Oversee the development of enablement content including sales plays, technical playbooks, certifications, competitive battlecards, product launch materials, workshops, e-learning curricula, demo content, and customer-facing assets.
- Establish a structured product launch readiness framework that ensures successful adoption and understanding of new capabilities across all customer-facing teams.
- Ensure enablement programs effectively communicate product value, technical differentiators, customer outcomes, and competitive positioning.
- Drive continuous improvement in onboarding, training delivery, sales productivity, and field effectiveness through scalable processes and tools.
- Lead and mentor a global team of enablement professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement reporting and analytics programs that measure field readiness, program effectiveness, technical competency, and business impact.
- Regularly engage with field teams, customers, Product teams, and market trends to identify emerging needs and continuously improve enablement programs.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, Education, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Enablement, Sales Enablement, Sales Engineering Enablement, Product Enablement, or related functions.
- Minimum of 5 years leading global enablement organizations within a software, SaaS, or cybersecurity company.
- Proven experience building and scaling enablement programs in high-growth, complex, and fast-paced technology organizations.
- Software or enterprise technology industry experience required; cybersecurity industry experience strongly preferred.
Product & Technical Leadership
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and a genuine passion for technology, cybersecurity, and product innovation.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong, trusted partnerships with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of software product development lifecycles, product roadmaps, technical architectures, and go-to-market processes.
- Strong understanding of how enterprise software and cybersecurity solutions are bought, evaluated, deployed, and adopted.
- Ability to quickly learn complex technical concepts and translate them into compelling learning experiences and business value propositions.
- Proven track record of creating and facilitating highly technical enablement programs for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting product launches and driving field readiness for rapidly evolving SaaS or cybersecurity platforms.
- Exceptional content development skills, including technical training, certifications, sales plays, competitive intelligence, workshops, demos, and product launch materials.
- Outstanding presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences ranging from new hires to executive leadership.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with experience measuring business impact and continuously improving program effectiveness.
