About the Role
We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our Technical Support team. In this role, you will analyze support data, identify trends, and create dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with Support, Operations, Engineering, and Leadership teams to optimize support processes and performance, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze support case data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key support metrics (e.g., resolution time, backlog trends, SLA compliance, customer satisfaction).
- Develop forecasting models and data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Generate actionable insights that help improve support efficiency and customer experience.
- Automate and streamline reporting processes using BI tools.
- Monitor and report on team KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing forecasts and predictive analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or technical support analytics preferably within a technical support or customer service environment.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, and report/dashboard creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros) and SQL for querying and analyzing data.
- Familiarity with support platforms like Zendesk, Salesforce Service Cloud, Jira, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience in customer support or technical operations.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics for support optimization.
