Title: Director, Global Partner & Alliance Marketing
Position Overview:
Varonis seeks a dynamic Global Partner & Alliance Marketing Director to lead, design, and drive high-impact channel pipeline generation marketing programs. This role is pivotal in shaping the Varonis’ partner ecosystem and is an exceptional opportunity to significantly influence our rapidly expanding cloud business through partners and alliance hyperscalers.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, performance-driven environment, and bring innovative ideas to life, particularly in driving impactful partner and alliance marketing initiatives. They will have a proven history of crafting and implementing successful SaaS channel marketing programs, dynamics, incentives, and programs, particularly through AWS, Microsoft, and Google.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Demand Program: Develop ready-to-use partner marketing campaigns in a box that empowers and enables partners to execute initiatives effortlessly.
Alliance Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with key strategic alliance partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google) to develop and implement tailored marketing plans that highlight our joint go-to-market strategies and value propositions, driving measurable results and SaaS revenue growth.
Integrated Marketing Coordination: Work closely with demand generation, product marketing, and regional marketing teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated marketing strategy that maximizes revenue.
Partner Communication: Continuously engage our global partner community through multifaceted communication channels including email, social media, webinars, etc.
Team Leadership and Mentoring: Build a high-performing partner & alliance marketing team, promoting a culture of collaboration and a focus on excellence.
Process Optimization: Develop and streamline channel marketing processes within to effectively support Varonis’ business needs while ensuring an exceptional partner experience.
Performance Tracking and Analysis: Own the definition and development of key metrics and reporting tools to measure partner engagement and influenced revenue on a global scale and effectively communicate to senior sales leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven leader with 8-10 years of experience in partner and alliance marketing within a $1B+ B2B SaaS technology organization, ideally in cybersecurity or networking sectors.
- Direct experience collaborating with channel sales managers, leaders, and technical teams, along with a comprehensive understanding of the partner landscape, including regional and national resellers and hyperscalers such as AWS and Microsoft.
- Experience working with Marketplace PDMs.
- A positive influencer who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and is skilled at driving progress and transformative change.
- Data-driven mindset with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilizing key performance indicators to optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Demonstrated experience in launching new initiatives for the partner community, focusing on enablement, incentives, and performance management strategies.
- Strong ability to navigate organizational boundaries and build relationships to achieve objectives.
- BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
