 As a Front-End Team Lead at Varonis’ Herzliya R&D center, you will lead a strong Full-Stack engineering team at the heart of our product development. Your team will build and own the client infrastructure and architecture that empower dozens of engineers to deliver sophisticated web experiences to thousands of customers worldwide. 

You will operate where platform engineering, Front-End architecture, developer experience, UX, scalability, and product innovation come together. The decisions your team makes will influence how engineers across the organization build, ship, and evolve our web platform. 

We are looking for a leader who wants to build teams, shape architecture, solve hard engineering problems, and make other engineers dramatically more effective while using modern AI tools to push engineering velocity and quality forward. 

  About the Role:   

• Lead and grow Front-End engineers, supporting their professional growth and helping them reach their full potential. 

• Own the Client Platform and its technical foundations, shaping the architecture, infrastructure, frameworks, and engineering standards behind the Varonis web experience. 

• Work closely with Product, UX, and engineering teams to deeply understand customer needs and turn them into impactful technical and product decisions. 

• Take ownership of improving development processes, engineering practices, and the way the team deliver. 

• Embrace modern AI-powered development, finding new ways to make the team and the broader engineering organization faster, smarter, and more effective. 
    

About You:   

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar field. 

• At least 2 years of experience leading and managing a team of engineers5+ years of professional software development experience. 

• Strong experience with Angular or similar Front-End frameworks. 

• Strong technical abilities with the ability to quickly understand complex systems and make thoughtful decisions. 

• Experience with architecture, system design, and code reviews. 

• A proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with a passion for continuously improving products and processes.
