Independent Contractor, Medical Strategy
You will use your knowledge of various disease states and treatment landscapes in oncology or other therapeutic areas as an independent contractor to provide context and perspective that advances our clients strategic planning by leveraging your pharmaceutical, clinical, scientific communications and/or strategic healthcare consulting experience.
A Day in the Life
- You will partner with internal client teams to ensure client objectives are met by shaping client deliverables
- You will be responsible for synthesizing information about a given disease state focusing on existing and emerging competitive treatment landscapes
- You will propose innovative solutions to address client needs; translate insights into implications; and provide strategic input into brand strategy
- You will employ your strong communication skills to foster successful professional interactions with external thought leaders, clients and our internal client teams
Requirements:
- PhD, PharmD, MD, MBA, MSN or ARNP required
- A minimum of ten years of work experience in the healthcare space
- Excellent working knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotech industries
- Considerable familiarity with oncology disease states and treatment landscapes with particular expertise in the following: breast cancer, gynecological malignancies, gastrointestinal cancers, or head and neck cancers
- Expertise in therapeutic areas outside of oncology will also be considered with emphasis on immunology, respiratory, and metabolic disease states
- Clinical practice, scientific communications agency and / or strategic healthcare consulting experience
