Educational Program Manager, Bio Ascend

What You’ll Do
You will oversee various CME and IME programs, with a focus on conference offerings as they are funded. You are expected to manage all parts of the programs and liaise between internal teams, accrediting entity and faculty. You should ensure program and program materials are aligned with ACCME guidelines and any other applicable guidelines.
A Day in the Life
- Serve as the project point of contact for internal teams, faculty and accrediting entity
- Communicate program expectations to appropriate internal team members
- Conduct regular project status meetings with internal core team, faculty, extended teams, and external contractors to ensure effective communication of project timelines
- Executes program plan based on budget and able to revise budget as needed
- Coordinates and participates in content planning calls with faculty and/or key content experts
- Provides on-site or virtual project management and execution
- Liaise with internal core team and other internal team members (Creative/Graphics, Editorial/Copyedit, Finance, Program Services) to ensure project resourcing and that needs and milestones are met
- Ensure activity is compliant with CME regulations and provide documentation to accrediting partner
- Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role
What You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of work experience in a medical education company, healthcare communications agency, biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with supporting/coordinating continuing education programs in a medical education company
- Understanding compliance within ACCME and other applicable guidelines
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrates ability to prioritize and plan personal and/or team workload and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with faculty interface and faculty management
- Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual work environment
- Responds well under pressure, is flexible, and demonstrates a sense of urgency to obtain results
- Results-oriented, with a commitment to accountability
- Strong customer service focus. Looks for the above and beyond solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and work well in group problem solving solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels within the organization and with clients at all times
- Works with confidential and sensitive corporate, client and employee information and must conduct him or herself accordingly
- Ensures the highest standards of quality control of client materials and, as appropriate, develop best practices protocols for project teams to facilitate such quality control
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to provide clear direction and set expectations
- Ability to travel within US and internationally up to 25% of the time
What You Might Have, but isn’t required
- Knowledge of LMS/CMS systems preferred
- 1+ year of Oncology/hematology experience preferred
- Knowledge of conference planning and overall management
- Familiarity with cloud-based storage systems (or similar systems) preferred

You will work closely with the Bio Ascend project manager team as well as leadership team, with additional collaborations with external experts, creative team and logistics based on project type.

Salary offers are based upon several factors including experience, education, skills, training, demonstrated qualifications, location, and organizational need. The range for this role is $75,000 - $88,000. Salary is one component of the total earnings and rewards package offered.
