Senior Project Manager, Curio Science

 

What You’ll Do

As our Senior Project Manager, Curio Science, you will support our Curio Science and other medical communications projects through utilization of project management fundamentals. You will ensure client goals are achieved, and projects are executed on time and within budget. Your primary responsibilities will include the application of project management knowledge, skills, and tools to successfully initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, and close client projects specifically within the Curio Science space.

 

A Day in the Life

Deliverables

  • Own complex projects from kickoff through closeout, shaping plans, timelines, and momentum from day one
  • Translate strategy into clear project briefs and actionable timelines that align teams and expectations
  • Lead high visibility, congress driven and multi subscribed programs with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Serve as a trusted operational leader-anticipating challenges, removing blockers, and keeping work moving forward
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Own project health end to end by monitoring timelines, risks, budgets, and data accuracy
  • Provide clear visibility through concise status updates and proactive communication
  • Close projects thoughtfully, capturing deliverables, documentation, and learnings to continuously improve how work gets done

 

Client Responsibility

  • Facilitate internal and vendor communication by setting up project calls and connecting appropriate team members to ensure transparency and collaboration

 

Internal Responsibility

  • Collaborate with department managers and resource managers to ensure projects are staffed appropriately

 

Business Development

  • Partner with account managers and cross-functional teams to support Vaniam Group business development initiatives

 

Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role.

 

What You Have

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in project management
  • 3+ years of experience working in a medical communications or advertising agency

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, plan for additional resources, set goals and objectives, and organize other people and tasks 
  • Ability to multitask and work within high-pressure situations 
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Workfront; Salesforce, CVENT, and Egnyte experience a plus

 

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, client, and organizational needs (5% travel expected)

 

The Team You’ll Work Closest With

You will work closely with several departments within Vaniam Group that are tied to Curio Science accounts including Program Services, Client Services, Scientific Communications, Creative, Editorial, Finance, Legal, and Digital Engagement teams to assist in building project plans for client deliverables.

Salary offers are based upon several factors including experience, education, skills, training, demonstrated qualifications, location, and organizational need. The range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000. Salary is one component of the total earnings and rewards package offered.
