Salary: Salary range is between $47,000-$51,500 annually and exact placement is determined based on relevant professional experience.

About the Role:
Valor Collegiate Academies is hiring a detail-oriented and collaborative Finance Coordinator who is excited to share our mission of academic excellence and empowering scholars to live inspired and purposeful lives. 

As a Finance Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to directly support our Director of Finance in a variety of projects related to the financial operations and human resource tasks of all three Valor schools, including transaction processing, general accounting, financial reporting, employee onboarding, and more. The ideal candidate will have professional finance experience.

Core Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in managing specialized information, reports, forms, purchasing requests, invoices, billing, tracking of projects, etc.
  • Complete weekly accounts payable process
  • Manage the finance & operations ticket system
  • Assist with daily and monthly tracking of cash receipts, including deposits in transit
  • Enter information into appropriate financial accounting and tracking systems.
  • Aid with departmental projects as needed 
  • Assist with the processing of weekly deposits for each campus
  • Assist with month end closeout 
  • Support with employee on-boarding/off-boarding and other HR related tasks
  • Provide any necessary ad hoc support to the Director of Finance and other network leaders as needed.

Key Experiences and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related fields is preferred
  • You have formal experience in a professional finance position
  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and G-Suite

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annualized salary range is between $47,000-$51,500, with a 2% increase applied yearly
