ROLE SUMMARY
The Front Desk Team member will be responsible for providing a positive and welcoming first impression for all people calling and visiting Valor Christian High School. As an ambassador of Valor, this person must extend courtesy, professionalism, patience, and assistance while at the same time serving as a “gatekeeper” of the facility. The Front Desk Team member is also responsible for executing all school-wide safety and security procedures. Strict confidentiality is a required component for success in this role. This role is a substitute position and is not on a set schedule. Shifts will vary between 0 and 30 hours per week, based on coverage needs. It's understood the applicant has the ability to be flexible and available when adequate notice is given to help with front desk coverage. During the first 30-60 days of employment, there will be scheduled time to train with front desk team members.

Reception/Customer Service
- Consistently provide a high level of customer service while always maintaining
- confidentiality
- Perform a full complement of reception services
Safety and Security
- Become knowledgeable and proficient in executing all school-wide safety and security procedures
- Become a strong user of all software systems currently utilized at the desk
Student Information/Attendance
- Fully support the Deans and Academic areas by maintaining all student attendance records
Supplies/Workroom Management
- Support the organization through managing workroom supplies while maintaining budget compliance
Serve Wholeheartedly as an Exceptional Teammate
- Uphold and embody Valor’s culture as set forth in the Valor Culture Document
- Model servant leadership, grace and love in all relationships and interactions
- Develop relationships with colleagues with goals of teamwork, relational unity and spiritual growth

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
POSITION TYPE: C: Year-round schedule. 12-Month Calendar. Substitute. This position offices in-person, on campus
HOURS PER WEEK: Part-Time, Non-Exempt. Variable, between 0-29 hours per week, as-needed
SUPERVISOR: Campus Director
PAY RANGE: $17-$18/hr
START DATE: February 24, 2026
