What You Will Do:

Patient Account Representative will have a working knowledge of all medical insurance types of payers to include, filing accurately and timely claims; Working knowledge of insurance policies and procedures will be necessary to work unpaid or denied claims; Follow-up and research of all claims not processed and paid within 30 days, which will include checking payor websites, correspondences from payors, denial notices, or calling payors; Be able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers / patients to ensure timely payment of all outstanding balances; Responsible for other duties as assigned and assist other staff with priority tasks when necessary.

What You Will Bring:


High School Diploma or GED required
One year of medical insurance billing experience required

One year of ICD-10 coding experience required

Strong organizational skills required
Strong clerical/computer data entry skills required
Excellent skills in reading, writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation and mathematical calculations required
Ability to type 40 wpm required
