What You Will Do:
The Site Coordinator assists the Medical Practice Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, and utilizes skills and knowledge to facilitate efficient operation of the medical office. In coordination with the Medical Practice Manager, this position supervises staff members and coordinates functions for daily operations as well as assisting the physician and nurse practitioner in the clinical functions related to the medical office. Level of care is administered to patients of all age ranges with illnesses, diseases or physical limitations. Supervises Office Staff, in conjunction with the Medical Practice Manager.
What You Will Bring:
High school graduate (or equivalent) Graduate of a state accredited school of nursing
Previous supervisory experience of one year strongly preferred. Minimum of one year LPN experience strongly desired. Experience in a medical office setting desired
Certification & Licensures
LPN Nursing License in Virginia required
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
* New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
Knowledge of basic patient care and ability to properly and safely handle medical equipment and supplies used. Must be able to perform and/or have knowledge of basic clerical skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel strongly preferred. Must possess exceptional communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills necessary for interaction with patients, visitors and staff. Appearance must be neat (clinical personnel will wear scrubs.) Must be able to function independently, as well as a team member. Candidates must be flexible, dependable and promote a professional image. Must be tactful, maintain confidentiality and handle stressful situations in a professional manner
