Education in Secretarial Science, Business or Accounting beyond high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two to four years previous office experience desired. Bookkeeping experience preferred.
Typing at 60 plus wpm with excellent typing skills preferred. Strong situation analysis skills, knowledge, intuition and abilities to communicate effectively on a wide variety of topics and levels. Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff, consumer and public officials under stress. Transcription and mathematical aptitude required. Proficiency in writing and communication skills. High degree of computer competency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point preferred. Knowledge of regulatory standards affecting hospitals I.E. JCAHO standards, OSHA, NFPA. Ability to utilize Dictaphone and other related office equipment required.
