What You Will Do:

Facilitates patient access to the delivery of patient care through completing the patient admission/registration process, while supporting functions and communication among team members.

What You Will Bring:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience
Two years experience in medical office/hospital setting preferred. Computer experience with Word helpful.

Certification & Licensures
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Qualifications
Excellent communication/organizational skills required. 45 wpm keyboarding skills preferred. Attention to detail required. Knowledge of basic documentation requirements for 3rd party payors desired, or ability to learn. Ability to interact with clinical professionals, patients, and Valley Health employees. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and VA law regarding release of information preferred. Familiar with basic office equipment. Decision making skills essential. Computer literacy for billing and scheduling.
