What You Will Do:

Hospitality Associate Patient Services provides support to patients and staff by serving wholesome attractive meals, maintaining strict sanitation requirements, and performing routine tasks as assigned; performs a wide variety of tasks and operations to prepare meals for patients. Coordinates and collaborates with hospital floor staff, including RNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff to ensure meals are provided to patients in a manner to best support their nutritional and medical needs. Direct patient interaction and assistance with meal selection is required. Large amount out interaction with patients is required. This position requires a self-directed person who is a team player and has a cooperative personality. Exhibits a positive attitude and communicates effectively with all levels of staff and patients. Expected to remain on task and work efficiently throughout the shift.

What You Will Bring:

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience
Previous food service experience/training preferred.

Certification & Licensures
Valid driver’s license required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age. Ability for on-the-job training. Ability to do simple calculations and record keeping. Must work with all ages and disabilities of hospitalized patients. Must complete and pass Serve Safe exam within six months of hire Competent and hospitable to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs. Ability to work with limited direct supervision from department leadership.
