What You Will Do:
Administrative Associate facilitates the delivery of patient care by performing specific administrative/clerical tasks, support functions and facilitating communication among team members under the supervision of a registered nurse; requires a person with a positive attitude who is pleasant and cooperative; displays a professional demeanor with patient, families, physicians and fellow employees; works under stressful conditions and remains pleasant and productive; works as a team member.
What You Will Bring:
High School Diploma graduate or equivalent required
• Keyboarding and computer skills/knowledge • Medical Terminology preferred • Ability to use good judgment and critical thinking skills to prioritize multiple tasks and solve problems • Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs which may apply based on the age of the patient served • Positions in the following areas require a criminal background and/or Central Registry check and continued employment is based on the outcomes of the report(s): Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Antepartum Unit, Women’s Care Center and effective 4/20/03 Float Pool
