What You Will Do:

The Patient Access Operations Manager plans, organizes, staffs, and controls a wide range of operations and activities pertaining to patient registration, patient flow, and patient experience in their designated facility. The Operations Manager will lead with innovation and creativity to achieve all front end revenue cycle goals and objectives related to arrival/admission, registration, insurance verification/accuracy, point of service collections, and other initiatives to support the organization. The role will require collaboration with the clinical teams as well as the Central Business Office. In order to be successful in this position, as well as find it professionally and personally rewarding, the Manager must possess the traits of high energy, compassion, attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to analyze information and make accurate decisions, create and present information in a professional and engaging manner, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position will require frequent rounding and interaction on the front line, as well as regular interaction with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership. The Operations Manager will create an environment that produces high employee engagement and addresses any engagement opportunities through appropriate action planning.

What You Will Bring:

Education

Bachelors Business, Healthcare Administration or related field required
Masters MBA, MHA, or related fi preferred

Experience
Five years patient access and/or patient financial services experience preferred
Two years Supervisory/Leadership Experience required
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze large data sets and create pivot tables, graphs, and clear presentations of data.

Certification & Licensures
CHAM Certification required or obtain within 24 months of hire
