What You Will Do:

Performs mammography, general radiography including portable procedures and fluoroscopy, for patients of all age groups. Fully trained in all aspects of mammography and maintains mammography FDA regulations. Flexibility to work holidays and overtime as needed. Maintains computer skills as necessary for department functions.

Certification & Licensures
WV Radiologic Technologist license required
ARRT (R) Registered ARRT (R) Registered
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required **
ARRT (M) Registered or registry eligible preferred * or registry eligible with satisfactory completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program. ** New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

•40 hours of training specific to mammography with completion of initial qualifications set forth by the MQSA. •Competence in performing general diagnostic radiography/fluoroscopy and portable radiography examinations and procedures on patients of all ages. •Must be able to work with Radiography students with varying skill levels. •Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development and competence in providing Radiologic Services for patients of all ages including neonate, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. •Demonstrates good communication skills necessary to relate to Physicians, peers and patients on a professional/technical level. •Ability to work weekdays. Holidays and weekends as needed.
