What You Will Do:

The Supervisor, Patient Accounts, is a leadership position within the Valley Health revenue cycle and plays an integral role, as a part of the extended care team, by developing, coordinating, and implementing robust billing programs that support the Valley Health's mission and strategic targets. This position leads a team of approximately 10 FTE's with a focus on achieving goals related to the performance of Valley Health's revenue cycle. The Supervisor is an active member of the CBO Leadership Team reporting directly to the Manager of Insurance Billing. By utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices, as well as liaising directly between staff and leadership of the various VHS Revenue Cycle Teams, the Supervisor will monitor and enhance overall performance of their team, identify, develop, and implement training programs, and work collaboratively with other leaders throughout the system to identify and implement improvement strategies.

What You Will Bring:

Education

Bachelors Business Required - or experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or ten (10) years experience in hospital/physician billing management, with supervisory experience required.

Experience
10 years Healthcare/Medical - Support Services required - or Bachelors degree Accounting required
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or ten (10) years experience in hospital/physician billing management, with supervisory experience required. Accounts Receivable and electronic billing experience required

Qualifications
A good basic computer background with ability to administer basic Novell networks systems for Valley Health System
Must have good organizational skills to handle multiple site billings.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Windows 95 and Electronic Claims.
Equipment used: Personal computer, Excel, Power Point, calculator, fax, Optical Imaging System.
