What You Will Do:

The Clinical Manager will provide direct clinical supervision to assist in maintaining appropriate clinical standards with 24- hour accountability for the Surgical Center.
Responsible for daily operations and leadership of clinical team and support staff. Lead teams to meet department and organizational performance metrics. Partner with Director to develop staffing plans, budget plans, performance evaluations, and performance improvement projects. Drive clinical excellence and safety culture within areas of responsibility. Develop and present data to support decision making at multiple levels of leadership. Participate in committees at multiple levels of leadership. Lead regulatory compliance and auditing efforts for areas of responsibility. Ensure clinical competency of staff and self through education and training.

What You Will Bring:


Bachelors Nursing (BSN) required
Masters Nursing (MSN) or Health Care Administration preferred

5 years experience as Staff Nurse with progressive clinical management skills preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills by functioning as a resource/charge RN for at least one year required

Certification & Licensures
RN Licensure Virginia required
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required*
*New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.

Knowledgeable in the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological stages of human growth and development.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills in planning, implementation, and management.
