What You Will Do:
The Professional Performance Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring practitioner performance improvement plans and causes for physicians and allied health professionals. The Coordinator supports medical staff leadership and maintains all records with their Programs for Professional Performance Evaluations, Quality, Professionalism and Practitioner Health. Helps facilitate clinical programs in conjunction with Credentialing and various committees. Collaborates with Patient Experience, Risk Management, legal counsel, along with various committees within the organization. Collaborates with Risk Management and internal and external legal counsel to determine methods to address concerns. Collaborates with accreditation manager to maintain readiness for Joint Commission and address concerns identified through surveys and grievances. Facilitates with Senior leadership, quality personnel and Valley Health hospitals regarding concerns, reports, surveys and interventions.
What You Will Bring:
Education
Bachelors Nursing (BSN) required
Experience
Minimum 10 years of acute care experience required.
Quality and/or Performance Improvement experience required.
Experience with EPIC health information system and chart abstraction.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Certification & Licensures
Registered Nurse licensure, state applicable required
Qualifications
Data analysis and critical thinking skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism and accountability as this position has significant access to confidential employee, patient, organizational, and financial information.
Must have professional demeanor and be able to interact with physicians and other profession staff.
Ability to work independently and in an organized fashion to coordinate activities as well as maintain follow-up correspondence related to those activities.
