The Arrabelle Club is a private club located only steps away from the Eagle Bahn gondola and Chair 8 in the heart of Vail Square where premier parking amenities are coupled with skiing at North America’s #1 ski resort, recreational and social privileges for the use and enjoyment of members and their guests. The Club is designed to provide the ultimate in convenience for those desiring to experience the finest that the Vail community has to offer.
The Great Room Host/ Arrabelle Club Host is responsible for ensuring that all Arrabelle Club Members and Resort guests have the highest quality food and beverage experience possible by providing exceptional server assistant skills. Primary duties include; Keeping the Arrabelle Club food service running smoothly: setting up the breakfast buffet, keeping buffet stocked during service, breaking down the buffet and stocking for the next day service. Keep the Great Room and server station clean, neat, well stocked and orderly. Responsible for polishing all china, glass and silver and ensuring all table settings are consistent, according to the brand standards. Also responsible for the clearing of dirty dishes, resetting tables, emptying of trash and re-stocking of all items and keep the dining pace consistent to the expectations of our Arrabelle Club guests. Arrabelle Club Attendant is expected to recognize Club Members and address them by name, remembering their special need and expectations. Also assists the team in creating a profitable department that is environmentally responsible.
This position is responsible for sweeping/vacuuming dining room, cleaning chairs, table bases and all areas within the dining room and side stations. They will complete daily side work such as folding napkins, polishing silver/glassware, sweeping the floors, etc. without being prompted and look for additional things to do to help co-workers and managers. The Arrabelle Club Buffet Host/Hostess must be capable of being apart of a cohesive team maintaining a pro-active attitude. They must exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance, adhering to the uniform standards, and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees, managers and guests. They will attends daily pre-shift huddle and is knowledgeable about daily house counts, VIPs, daily features/soups, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. -preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in a guest service field. -required
- Previous restaurant POS experience. -preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal. -required
- Ability to communicate in Spanish. -preferred
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds. -required
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time. -required
- Must be able to work weekend and holidays. -required
