The NIGHT banquets set-up inspector plays a key role in the success of the banquet department at the Keystone Lodge and Spa.  We are seeking hospitality and guest service oriented individuals.  Job responsibilities of this position include the following:

• Provide superior guest service and assistance in a professional, cheerful, courteous, and timely manner.
• Inspect all meeting and banquet sets for quality and correctness.
• Train and supervise staff in all areas of their job.
• Maintain high standards of department by enforcing policy.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Complete daily work schedule and take responsibility for completion.
• Take initiative to improve product and service.
• Read, understand and organize daily’s, weekly’s, and banquet event orders.
• Maintain departmental storage areas and offices.
• Be available to group leaders to ensure their requirements are met.
• Know all types of room set-ups and table configurations.
• Set meeting and banquet rooms with critical eye for detail, as to achieve “zero defect”.
• Carefully lift, carry, and maneuver all types of furniture and equipment for extended periods of time.
• Ensure meeting and banquet rooms, public areas, and bathrooms are kept clean.
• Respond to client’s many requests and changes in an efficient and professional manner.
• Interact positively with other departments.
• Actively uphold Resort and departmental quality of service standards.
• Correct and signpost events in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with banquet set up - preferred
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Willing to work long hours, weekends, mornings, evenings and holidays as needed
• Positive “can do” attitude
• Able to work under pressure
• Pride in work
• Ability to lead by example
• Self motivated and motivator of staff
• Strong communication skill
• Enthusiasm for guest service
