F&B Cook II is a Line cook in fast paced culinary environment. Will prepare food according to standardized recipes and portion controls. Will assist in prepping all kitchen lines and re-stocking the lines, as necessary. Help to receive food and dry goods for the kitchen and properly account for such deliveries. Keep all coolers and walk-ins neat and clean. Properly store/cover all food items and rotate products for freshness. Help the Chef(s) maintain all par levels for the kitchen(s).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. -required
- Culinary degree/certificate. -preferred
- Previous culinary experience. -required
- Previous experience cooking for multiple outlets. -preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English. -required
- Ability to communicate in Spanish. -preferred
- Current certification in state Professional Food Handler Program. -preferred
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, early mornings, afternoons and evenings. -required
