Full-Time – Winter Seasonal - Ticket Sales Lead - Kirkwood, CA

 

Kirkwood's Product Sales and Service team is looking to hire full time Sales Leads for the 2014-15 Winter Season. The PSS Sales Lead will be solely responsible for a designated ticket selling area and responsible for guiding staff in successful front line sales and office operations. This position requires a high knowledge of our products and systems. This is a leadership role responsible for 5+ employees. We are looking for an organized individual who is positive, outgoing, has a passion for the outdoors, is well-disciplined, and takes pride in their work.

 

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading employees in sales and office operations by example;
  • Creating lunch and break schedules;
  • Opening and closing ticket office(s);
  • Creating a fun and professional work environment, including sales contests;
  • Processing accurate financial transactions in RPOS with all forms of payment;
  • Answering any and all Kirkwood-specific questions and being knowledgeable about the history and culture of Kirkwood;
  • Keeping the offices clean, neat, organized, and presentable at all times;
  • Tracking and monitoring office inventory levels;
  • Being responsible for weekly safety meetings;
  • Being responsible for point of sale close out procedures and auditing;
  • Own, personalize, and elevate overall office experience with guest and front line agents.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs;
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language proficiently.  

 

Preferred skills:

  • Experience handling money and working with the general public;
  • Guest service experience;
  • Excellent skill in customer relations, communications, and problem solving;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
