Jeep/Wagon Tour Guide - Full Time, Summer Seasonal - Beaver Creek, CO
The Jeep/Wagon Tour Guest Service Agent is responsible for meeting, greeting, coordinating, and driving guests on Jeep/Wagon Tours of Beaver Creek Mountain. Tour duties will include gathering guests for the tour, reviewing safety policies and procedures, driving large off road vehicles on mountain roads in all conditions, educating guests about Colorado History, local flora and fauna, presenting a picnic lunch to guests, answering questions and handling guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner and providing a safe and enjoyable experience on Beaver Creek Mountain. Additional duties will include refueling, cleaning and maintaining the Jeeps/Wagons and working the Guest Agent in the village and the tops of lifts. An ideal candidate will have previous guiding, and off road driving experience as well as be able to lift 100 lbs and interact with guests with ease. Other duties will be assigned including helping out with the Gem Panning operation in Beaver Creek.
This full time position will be 30 to 40 hours/week.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older - required
- High School Diploma or equivalent - required
- Able to lift 100 lbs - required
- Valid US driver's license - required
- Must be able to drive large off-road vehicles in varied weather conditions - required
- Must have at least 3 years experience in guest service industry - required
- Able to handle guest concerns/complaints with tact and professionalism - required
- Must have knowledge of Colorado History and local flora and fauna - required
- Previous guide experience - preferred
- CPR/First Aid certifications - highly preferred
- Able to communicate in English conversationally- required, other languages preferred (Spanish, Japanese…etc)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Weekends and Holidays required
- Comfortable following and enforcing safety policies
- Comfortable working in varied weather conditions
- Satisfactory MVR check - required
- Satisfactory Background check - required
