Ticket Sales Agent - FT/PT - Seasonal - Kirkwood - CA
Kirkwood's Ticket Department is looking to hire full time and part time Ticket Agents for the 2014-15 Winter Season. The Ticket Agent will be responsible for selling tickets and passes on the front line at Kirkwood's ticket office locations. This position requires a full knowledge of our products and services resort wide. As a front line Ticket Agent, you will receive a high level of guest interaction and will be the face of Kirkwood! We are looking for guest service oriented individuals who are positive, outgoing, has a passion for the outdoors, is well disciplined, and takes pride in their work.
Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Opening and closing duties of assigned ticket office.
- Creating a fun and professional work environment.
- Exceptional Guest Services provided to all guest internal and external.
- Processing accurate financial transactions in RPOS with all forms of payment.
- Perform point of sale close outs, organize cash and receipts, create deposit, and be held responsible for your end of day point of sale audit.
- Answering any and all Kirkwood specific questions and being knowledgeable about the history and culture of Kirkwood.
- Adhere to department guidelines, manual, and company policies.
- Contribute to other Product Sales and Services departments when needed (Guest Services & Scanning).
- Attend all scheduled department safety & service weekly meetings.
- Keeping the offices clean, neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Own, personalize, and elevate overall office experience with guest and co-workers.
Qualifications:
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language proficiently.
- Intermediate or better computer skills. Must be ablet to use mouse, keyboard (25WPM), learn new software. Should have basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
Preferred skills:
- Experience handling money and working with the general public.
- Point-of-sale experience.
- Guest service experience.
- Skill in customer relations, communications, and problem solving.
- Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel).
