IT PC Tech – FT Year Round – Northstar California
PC Tech's provide day-to-day technical support, maintenance, and assistance for all resort wide hardware and software. Responsibilities include working knowledge of computer hardware, printers, scanners, cameras, as well as creating and maintaining documentation. Ability to talk clearly and concise with comfort to a wide range of end users is required. Team player, detail oriented and able to prioritize without supervision. While Northstar is your base resort, you may be called upon to assist at other Tahoe Region Vail Resorts.
Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Support our in house Resort POS ticketing system.
- Maintain and repair computers, laptops, and printers.
- Create or update existing documentation
- Ability to talk with everyone from front line employee to Senior Team Leaders.
- Working knowledge of Win XP, and 7.
- Troubleshoot Zebra Card, Boca Ticket, Epson Receipt, and HP LaserJet printers.
- Follow and enforce company guild lines, Policies and Practices.
- Understand assent management and tracking.
Requirements:
- CompTia A+ / MCP
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Minimum 1 years' experience in Information Technology.
- US Driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs. Approx. 1/3 of job is lifting and carrying equipment.
- Ability to work outside in cold temperature. Job is 50/50 Indoor/Outdoor
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to Ski or Ride
- Avaya Telecom general knowledge
Team support schedule:
Winter - Sun - Sat 7:30am to 5:30pm
Summer - Sun - Sat 8am - 5pm
