The Activities & Dining Assistant Manager is responsible for helping lead the Activities & Dining team to success through staff development, communication, innovation, and strong collaboration with other departments and resorts. The Assistant Manager needs to have a high attention to detail, strong observational and analytical skills, and a passion for experiences of a lifetime. This position is integral in supporting multiple lines of business throughout Keystone Resort.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with the manager to identify and implement strategies that will grow the business
  • Develop supervisor and frontline staff to be successful and effective as a team
  • Maintain clear and effective communication throughout the resort about activity, dining, event, and resort information
  • Analyze call center data and create reports for management
  • Understand various lines of business and collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of activity & dining outlets. These include but are not limited to:
    • Marketing
    • Conference Sales and Services
    • Lodging and Hospitality
    • Food & Beverage
    • Events
    • Guest Services
    • Mountain Operations
  • Build and maintain relationships with 3rd party activity vendors, including contract setup and invoicing
  • Work with manager to develop sales and performance goals for the department
  • Maintain and enhance internal website for resort employees
  • Opening and closing of the call center and sales locations
  • Manage daily operations of the call center and front desk locations
  • Hiring, training, coaching, and discipline of all Activities & Dining staff
  • Manage employee relations budget to recognize and reward staff
  • Perform quality controls for Agent phone conversations, transactions, and bookings

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience – Required
  • 3+ years of guest service experience – Required
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills – Required
  • RPOS and cash handling experience – Preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Preferred
