The Rental Coordinator is responsible for assisting Regional and/or Area Managers in maintaining established procedures and standards specific to rental operations.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Coordinate receipt and transfer of all rental equipment
- Participate in physical inventories to help ensure inventory accuracy
- Build product information into IS and maintain barcodes as required
- Coordinate rental reservation information with Rentskis.com
- Verify all required pre-inventory, inventory, and post inventory preparation, guidelines, and instructions are being followed
- Act as the Rental Systems Regional Trainer conducting classes and on-the-job training as required
- Coordinate ASTM testing and binding certification training
- Verify that regular monthly audits are conducted
- Verify that established rental operations standards are being maintained
- Verify that an adequate supply of forms, materials, and supplies are on hand
- Review the rental training binder periodically for organization, completeness, and updates
- Review rental reports, to ensure that they are run and utilized per policy
- Review rental contracts and accident reports for proper policy adherence
- Inspect fleet for overall condition and maintenance requirements
- Review inventory reports for proper status assignment, documentation, and necessary actions
- Communicate problems, discrepancies, and audit results to Regional Managers on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year retail and rental industry experience - required
- Management experience - required
- Professional experience in the snowsports industry - preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English - required
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Maintain a working knowledge of products
- High school diploma or equivalent - required
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends and holidays - required
