F&B General Manager, Alpenglow Stube (Fine Dining) - Full Time/11-month - Keystone, CO
Description
The General Manager of the Alpenglow Stube, a fine dining establishment, ensures that the staff provide and that guests receive the highest levels of service. The GM is responsible for managing staff, effectively handling financials, and taking overall responsibility for front of house operations.
This position requires riding 2 gondolas in the winter. Skiing and riding is NOT required.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing the highest level of service
- Effectively managing all financial results
- Understand and report on profit and loss statements
- Hiring, training, and developing a strong food and beverage team
- Reviewing and acting on Guest Survey results
- Staff scheduling
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of food and beverage experience - required
- Minimum 1 year of management experience - required
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff and guests
- MS Office and PeopleSoft proficiency is a plus
- College Degree - preferred
- TIPS and ServSafe Certification - preferred
- High level of knowledge of wines - preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays - required
- Provide own slip-resistant shoes in accordance with Vail policy - required
