A Room Attendant is truly the heart of the house, considered to be the back-bone of the hospitality department. The housekeeping staff ensures that the guest leaves satisfied by adhering to the highest quality of industry standard. Be part of one of the most exciting Winter opportunities available!

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. 
• Clean floors, vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, wash, strip, wax, buff, and shampoo carpets.
• Wash windows, walls, tables, etc.
• Dust furniture, fixtures and woodwork.
• Strip and make beds.
• Clean and stock bathrooms.
• Straighten rooms, stock guest rooms with glasses, stationary, etc.
• Empty trash receptacles and pick up litter in and around buildings.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Move furniture.
• Perform some routine inspection and maintenance of electrical, heating and ventilating equipment.  Perform related housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Follow established health and safety procedures for using cleaning chemicals, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

• Reports to Assistant Director of Housekeeping
• Receives direction from Housekeeping Supervisors and Housekeeping Inspectors

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, lift and carry heavy objects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school education desirable.
• Basic knowledge and skills in routine housekeeping work desirable.
• Ability to perform all related duties.
