Description

The Accounting Coordinator will verify all receipts reports and backup from Product Sales & Service and Food & Beverage and provide important information on seller performances on a daily basis.

 

Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

  • Verify receipts and reports on all sellers from all submitting locations
  • Verify backup against reports and ensure proper closing protocols
  • Verify all revenue for IG Food and Beverage locations and match to RPOS reports
  • Provide input of audit infractions to be reported back to the location daily
  • Verify cashier drawers, department banks and skier count at village and on-mountain locations periodically
  • Research credit card disputes and properly corresponding to disputed cases
  • Talk to other departments with questions in regards to their cashier reports.
  • Maintain records in a neat manner in order to meet SOX requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 

  • Computer experience in Microsoft Office, Peoplesoft a plus              
  • Educational Requirements: HS Diploma or GED
  • Basic Communication skills: (Ex: Ability to speak, read and communicate clearly in English. Ability to read and comprehend complex correspondence) 
  • Pass a Background check
  • Guest Service Skills: Professionalism, timeliness and willingness to answer our internal customers needs        

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or other business-related field
  • Previous Accounting-related experience
  • Ability to pass a Ski or Ride
