Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a strategic, highly innovative professional to join the USANA’s market development team as a marketing regional director. In this position, you will identify and leverage market-specific opportunities to connect product owners with targeted regional demands. You will also lead regional marketing initiatives to align with global product positioning and drive brand awareness, sales, and efficiency through regionalization and localization strategies.

 

What You Will Do as USANA’s Regional Marketing Director 

  • Develop and drive go-to-market regional sales strategies for each product category (Nutrition, Skincare, Active Nutrition), prioritizing regional market product requests and needs. This includes developing sales tactics and strategies for effective selling
  • Partner with Product Owners to lead market and Distributor feedback loops through the product development process
  • Compile and maintain a regional marketing framework to ensure consistency and standardization, even with changes in personnel
  • Work with local teams to localize regional strategies, providing guidance and coaching to refine local marketing strategies and execution plans
  • Work closely with the Regional Vice President to align strategies and ensure successful execution of regional initiatives
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to gain market share, foster collaboration, and drive sales growth by collaborating with global and local teams to identify emerging trends, engagement & consumption patterns, track and analyze marketing and promotional performance, adjusting strategies to optimize results
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards, staying updated on best practices and industry trends

 

Background and Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, health-related science, or related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years in management positions within Direct Selling. Regional experience is a strong advantage
  • Experience in strategic alignment, effective product positioning, and a deep understanding of regional markets’ business culture, dynamics, and direct selling
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with regional markets’ field leaders and the senior management
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese and/or other assigned markets’ dialect is a plus
