We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in Mexico as an human resource generalist. As an integral part of our global HR department, you will play a vital role in managing core HR functions, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws, and supporting employee development. Our ideal candidate is proactive, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, focused on achieving personal and department goals, and can build rapport and trust with employees.

 

What You Will Do as a USANA HR Generalist

  • Act as the main point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, fostering a positive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican labor regulations, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, and Ley Federal del Trabajo
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent for the market
  • Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate processing of salaries, taxes, and benefits
  • Implement and enforce HR policies in alignment with corporate standards and local laws
  • Support performance management processes and assist in resolving employee relations issues
  • Identify training needs and facilitate employee development programs
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems for data management

 

Background and Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in Mexico.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
