Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join the USANA IT security team as a security engineer. In this position, you will use your strong background in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity practices to collaborate with various teams to ensure the security of our software applications and cloud services. You will also identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security measures.
 
What You Will Do as USANA’s Security Engineer
  • Implement and manage cloud security controls, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security
  • Design and implement security measures for cloud-based applications and services (AWS, Azure, AliCloud)
  • Develop and maintain security tools and scripts to help automate security testing
  • Coordinates penetration testing engagements and coordinating remediation of identified vulnerabilities including regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to design and implement security features
  • Implement and manage security information and event management systems (SIEM)
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CCPA, PCI-DSS)
 
Background and Skills You Will Need
  • 3-4 years plus experience working in Information Security
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, including EC2, VPC, S3, and IAM
  • Relevant 1-3 years of experience in AWS cloud security is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with cloud security tools and services
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like terraforms
  • Experience with automated security testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with security incident response and forensics
 
What Will Make You Standout
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
 Relevant certification CISSP, AWS Certified Security or equivalent are highly desirable
