BUSINESS SYSTEMS & APPLICATIONS MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, experience in a CPG environment, an interest in fresh food manufacturing, experience supporting and developing ERP/financial systems, a desire to develop and deliver tools & insight through business processes/systems, and passion for Urban Remedy’s mission and long-term success.

This position is primarily remote. Travel requirements estimated to be 4-8 trips per year for HQ visit, offsite training, etc.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the ERP system and integrated systems
- Support business functions from a systems perspective and partner with functional area experts
- Review current business processes and ensure systems are being leveraged to fully utilize capabilities and automation
- Facilitate IFS training for the internal IFS power users and leads
- Provide cross-functional support/communication with Planning, Production, Procurement, 3PL, Customer Service, and Business Development teams
- Function as a stakeholder on projects, participate in management decisions, and issue resolution. Stay informed on ERP technology trends and uses in the manufacturing industry
- Work closely with the operations team to improve supply chain systems and tools
- Work with functional area experts to develop tools and systems that improve visibility of inventory stock position relative to sales forecast, production plan, and actual demand enabling effective use of resources
- Respond to critical production issues and provide solutions to maintain business continuity
- Maintain business system controls, policies and procedures
- Proactively identify potential issues; provide support and troubleshooting of core business applications
- Work with 3rd-party developer to support E-Commerce platform and Point-of-Sale integrations (currently Revel)
- Provide expertise to identify and translate business requirements into software design
- Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources
- Manage and serve as the primary point of contact with third-parties for purposes of data integration and connection maintenance
- Manage third-party IT service and activity
- Manage IT spend to ensure budget is maintained and capitalize on cost savings opportunities
- Responsible for data governance
- Assist with general data management
- Foster a strong and positive work environment that encourages creativity, while maintaining high caliber productivity
QUALIFICATIONS
Position Specific skills Required
- Excellent understanding of accounting business processes and business operations
- Extensive in-depth knowledge of enterprise applications
- Understanding of the technical architecture of the business applications and platforms
- Strong proactive problem-solving, teamwork and analytical skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills,
- ERP-related issues
- Data migration-related issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well independently and cross-functionally
- Strong leadership – the ability to teach, coach, delegate, etc.
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to effectively project manage and meet all specified deadlines
Technical Skills Required
- Seven (7) or more years of applicable experience supporting ERP/Financial systems (experience with IFS preferred)
- Experience with Windows Server management and Microsoft developer tools (Power Automate, Visual Studio, Power Shell, etc.)
- Core strength in three or more ERP functional modules such as Accounting, Materials Management, Production Planning, and Sales and Distribution
- Strong working knowledge of SQL - preferably Oracle-based SQL
- Five (5) years of application management experience in a medium to large environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity of projects and applications
Education/Training Required
- Proven track record of success with 3-5 years in ERP systems analysis
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Authorized to work in the US
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position works in a standard office environment with extended use of the computer/ keyboarding and sitting as well as use of other office equipment such as phone and copier. This position may spend time in a dangerous manufacturing environment and may be exposed to extreme temperatures and loud noises.
