MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse
• Use a scanner/system for receiving and warehouse activities tied to material receipt, movement, picking, and storage.
• Help ensure accurate material inventories are being picked and transported between the distribution center (URDC) and support center (RIPC).
• Provide backup support for URDC driver (transport material to RIPC and back).
• Use warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Support continuous improvement and best practices for product movement to help maintain inventory accuracy, simplify processes and to reduce waste.
• Communicate with to leads, supervisors and managers on issues that may impact or delay production schedules.
• Comply with all state and federal Health and Safety codes.
• Perform other duties, as assigned, and follows through on requests in a professional and timely manner. 

QUALIFICATIONS
POSITION-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED
• Experience in produce and/or food service preferred.
• Well organized with ability to multitask.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of computer software applications is preferred.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
Shift: 4:00am-12:30pm
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• 1-3 years forklift and electric pallet jack experience required; certification is preferred.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of GMP Food Manufacturing is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS 
• Able to lift 50 pounds and physically perform requirements of job.
• Sitting 10%, walking 50%, standing 40%.
• Mobility in plant / warehouse environment.
• Long periods of standing, twisting and bending.
