Project Manager
Description
Uplight is creating a new category of energy. We make software that manages energy resources in homes and businesses—including things like smart thermostats, electric vehicles, solar panels, storage batteries, heat pumps, and even people’s behavior—to generate, shift, or save energy to balance the grid, making it more efficient and reliable. This creates clean energy capacity that can be used by the power grid instead of burning more fossil fuels. Our solutions accelerate the transition to clean energy and save money for energy customers.
Uplight is seeking a Technical Project Manager to be responsible for executing and delivering projects for our utility clients, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
How you will make an impact:
The Technical Project Manager will join our Delivery team and lead cross-functional projects. You will be working closely with our client and partners to help ensure that each project scope is successfully delivered, in a timely manner - ensuring customers are able to actualize the full value of their solution. Successful Technical Project Managers have a solid understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall methodologies applied to client facing implementations. You should be comfortable with escalating both internally and externally. This role requires someone who is extremely well organized, able to understand technical concepts, and skilled at crafting key messaging into a digestible format for customers. Technical Project Managers must develop a good understanding of Uplight products and solutions in order to effectively deliver value for clients.
